Model Olivia Palermo (37) presented their Instagram followers a particularly chic styling combination of Bermuda shorts and an oversize blazer in beige and with a white checked pattern. Pink pumps and a matching clutch provide splashes of color.
But Bermuda shorts can also be sporty and casual, as actress Julianne Hough (34) proves: Her khaki pants has combined them with an XXL cardigan with yellow, red and green checks. Hough wears dark red pumps, but white sneakers also go well with the outfit.
Where do Bermuda shorts come from?
By the way: The origin of the Bermuda trousers lies in the military history of the Royal Navy, the United Kingdom’s war navy. The Bermuda archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean is a British Overseas Territory. At the end of the 19th century short uniform trousers were introduced for the soldiers stationed there due to the tropical climate.
