Notebook at a ridiculous price: how cheap can the 15-inch device get?

The Inspiron 15 3502 (G426X) notebook from Dell is currently available at a really good price (see below). The notebook works with the Intel Pentium N5030, a low-end quad-core processor designed for simple tasks (texting, surfing, streaming, chatting). The main memory is also designed to match this with 4 GB. The SSD is tight at 128 GB, but just enough for documents, e-mails and a few corresponding programs. After all, the 15-inch display has a Full HD resolution. In addition, Windows is already pre-installed – not a matter of course in this price range.

The range of functions includes HDMI, three USB ports, WLAN ac, Bluetooth, a LAN socket and a webcam.

The notebook was already on sale some time ago – but it still cost around 560 euros.

Our assessment:

The processor, available working memory and the built-in SSD make it clear that the Dell Inspiron 15 3502 (G426X) is not a high-performance machine for playing games or doing creative work in Adobe Photoshop, Affinity Designer and the like. However, the notebook is always sufficient for simple, everyday tasks, such as working in MS Word, writing e-mails, surfing, chatting and streaming films. If you don’t need more than that, for example for school, study or home office, you get a solid package here.
