Tomorrow, October 26, the Nothing brand will unveil new Ear (Stick) headphones.
At the same time, the firm could launch a revision of its current Ear (1).
“New” Ear headphones (2) at Nothing?
Founded by former OnePlus employees, the Nothing brand already distinguished itself last year with the launch of its Ear wireless headphones (1). In 2022, it was the first smartphone that the British firm put on the market, and while waiting for new Ear headphones (Stick), it is a revision of the current model which has just leaked on the Web.
We owe this revelation to Indian leaker Kuba Wojciechowski. This suggests a second version with an unchanged look, with still a large part given to transparency on the design side, but also a slightly revised technical sheet.
An unchanged design, but something new on board?
Obviously, these new headphones signed Nothing will be stamped with the mention Ear (2). The brand has not yet given any details about these upcoming headphones, but we can imagine that it has reworked the few flaws inherent in the first model, starting with weak autonomy, average insulation and peaks that the ‘we considered perfectible in the treble. Nothing also seems to have equipped its future headphones with two microphones, for better noise reduction.
When they were launched, the Nothing Ear (1) also shone with their price positioning, with a price set at 99 euros. A few days ago, CEO Carl Pei wanted to confirm an increase in the price of the headphones, which will rise to 149 euros on October 26.
It remains to be seen now how Nothing will make these future Ear (2) and the new Ear (Stick) coexist in its catalog. These headphones promise better audio quality and will come to recharge in a tubular case, inspired by cosmetics and a tube of lipstick.
