After Taylor Swift fans, hackers are now looking to scam users who are desperate for a ticket to Jul’s sold-out concerts at the Stade de France and the Vélodrome in Marseille. Beware of these fake tickets sold online.
Each concert event is a perfect opportunity for pirates to scam fans of the greatest French and international artists. In July 2023, we remember the numerous scams after the opening of ticket sales for Taylor Swift’s tour.
And this April 17, 2024, it was the French rapper Jul who caused the excitement of all his fans by announcing the outfit of two major concerts at the Stade de France and the Vélodrome in Marseille in May 2025. Unsurprisingly, the 150,000 tickets on sale sold out at lightning speed, and currently only a few places in boxes advertised at exorbitant prices are still vacant.
But that doesn’t matter, the scammers intend to ride on the enthusiasm and despair of fans who have not managed to obtain their precious entry ticket. According to Nicolas Pawlak, Defense civil engineer and founder of Red Flag Domains (editor’s note: a platform specializing in the detection of malicious domain names), fans of the rapper must exercise the greatest vigilance.

“Since the start of the week, at least one fake site per day has been launched for Jul concert tickets. The media indicate that the official ticket office was stormed, which explains this enthusiasm among fraudsters; it would also be interesting to communicate about the existence of these false platforms, and the vigilance required…” he writes on his LinkedIn account.
In his post, the expert also shares some screenshots of several fake platforms spotted on the web. Without surprise, some do not hesitate to use the interface of well-known services like TicketMaster For example. To complete the picture, the pirates made sure to have domain names featuring Jul’s name as “concert.jul.com”, “concertjul[.]Fr” or “concert2jul[.]Fr”.
Some scammers go even further by voluntarily setting the counter to zero for certain categories of seats. A way for them to bring credit to their platform, while once again creating urgency among the users who want their place. As we mentioned above, don’t fall into these traps. Currently, there are no more seats available for Jul’s two concerts, with the exception of a few VIP boxes sold for several hundred euros.
