Do you need some more ideas for your fall outfits? We were inspired by our four favorite rom-coms and brought you outfits that bring Notting Hill & Co. to life.

We love rom-coms – and this year we’re not only being entertained, we’re even drawing fashion inspiration from our favorites. From Notting Hill to Harry & Sally – we’re looking at these cult looks from well-known rom-coms for our fall outfits.

Our Top 4: These favorite rom-coms inspire our fall outfits

Notting Hill

Who doesn’t know him? The iconic look Julia Roberts wears in “Notting Hill” when she first meets Hugh Grant – and he immediately ruins it for her with his coffee. Calm and yet damn well dressed, we can see ourselves strolling through weekly markets in this outfit, taking a Sunday walk or visiting a café with our best friend. Sunglasses protect our eyes on sunny days; The beret, on the other hand, keeps our hair in check on windy days. You don’t have to change your outfit at short notice just because the weather changes quickly, as is typical for autumn. We love!

Sleepless in Seattle

As we sit comfortably on the couch, a cup of tea in our hands, a light blanket over our legs and Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan on the screen – we immediately note their autumn outfit for the next few days. At the latest in the decisive final scene on the Empire State Building, we make a note of the search for the perfect autumn coat in the back of our minds. Meg Ryan’s character combines this with a scarf that is somewhat old-fashioned from today’s perspective, but with matching, modern accessories, this dream in gray becomes a timeless piece of clothing in our wardrobe. A wool coat in gray – what goes better with autumn?!

Clueless

A huge pool of ideas not just for Gen Z: the 90s film hit “Clueless”. The outfits of the characters Cher and Dionne have long since achieved cult status and regularly ensure a comeback of mini pleated skirts, checked patterns and plush. We can also find some of these in the current collections of well-known labels and shops. So you shouldn’t be surprised if we occasionally remind you of Clueless in fashion this fall.

Harry & Sally

Meg Ryan, the second. In addition to “Sleepless in Seattle,” this classic with the popular actress in the lead role is also suitable for a little autumn inspiration. The clothing style doesn’t differ much from the look she wears next to Tom Hanks. We can copy a lot from her with (playful) white blouses, knitted sweaters and blazers. We already took her nonchalance as a role model years ago. Now also fashionable.
