When it’s time to put his title back on the line, Serbian Novak Djokovic will enter the fray against Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert during the evening session. Also to follow in the men’s singles table, the debut of the Norwegian Casper Ruud (seeded no 7), by the Danish Holger Rune (no 13) and the American Taylor Fritz (no 12) in the women’s draw, the Kazakh Elena Rybakina, world number 4, will meet the Belgian Greet Minnen. Still present at 37 years old, a former finalist of the tournament will make her entry: the Italian Sara Errani.
Pierre-Hugues Herbert will have a hard time facing Novak Djokovic. This will also be the case for Alizé Cornet, who is playing her last Roland-Garros before retiring, opposed to the Chinese Zheng Qinwen, seeded no 7. Among the other French representatives, we will find Kristina Mladenovic, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard and Grégoire Barrère.
