(CercleFinance.com) – Novo Nordisk announces that its sales reached 83.3 billion Danish krone (DKK) in the first half, a figure up 16% at constant exchange rates compared to the same period a year earlier .
At the same time, EBUT increased by 14% at constant exchange rates, to DKK 37.5 billion.
Novo Nordisk finally recorded a net profit up 11%, to 27.5 billion DKK, or EPS up 13%, to 12.08 DKK.
“We are very pleased with the sales growth in the first half of 2022. The growth is driven by the growing demand for diabetes treatments and obesity treatments,” summarizes Lars Fruergaard Jørgensen, President and CEO.
Following this publication, Novo Nordisk announces that it is raising its outlook for the 2022 financial year and is targeting sales growth of 12 to 16% at constant exchange rates.
