(CercleFinance.com) – Novo Nordisk announced on Monday that it had repurchased 436,152 of its own shares since the implementation of its share buyback program for a total amount of 397 million Danish crowns.

The Danish biopharmaceutical group specifies that these acquisitions are part of its program to repurchase category ‘B’ shares for an amount of up to 2.2 billion crowns between May 7 and August 5.

With these operations, Novo now says it holds more than 10.5 million ‘B’ type shares in treasury, or around 0.2% of its capital.
