Now available for 100 euros at Lidl: Xiaomi cell phone with a large battery and update guarantee

• Lidl has been offering the Xiaomi Redmi 13C in its stores since May 6th.
• The smartphone with decent features is available for just under 100 euros.
• The update guarantee is outstanding for the price range. The device will be provided with security patches until 2027.

You can currently find a cheap everyday cell phone on offer at Lidl. The discounter has been selling the Xiaomi Redmi 6C including SIM card and starting credit for just 99.99 euros in its branches since May 6th. A good price for the entry-level smartphone that has decent features and a large battery.

Tip: If you can no longer find the Redmi 13C in the store, you can also get it from Amazon. However, a SIM card with starting credit is not included.

The Xiaomi Redmi 13C on offer is characterized by a large battery (5,000 milliamp hours) – so it will easily get you through the day. The smartphone is equipped with four gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal storage.

Dual SIM capable, headphone jack

This can be expanded to up to one terabyte via memory card. This means you have enough space for apps, documents and photos. The latter is possible with the 50 megapixel camera on the back and an 8 megapixel camera is available for selfies.

The 6.74-inch display works with a refresh rate of 90 Hertz and has a Full HD resolution. The smartphone has space for two SIM cards and, unlike many competing models, it also offers a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack. The update guarantee is also outstanding for the price range. Xiaomi delivers the cell phone with Android 13 and promises you an update to both Android 14 and Android 15. There are also regular security patches until November 2023.
