Now available, the Roborock Q7 Max has arrived at the editorial office

Last to arrive in the Roborock catalog, the Q7 Max is presented as an affordable robot vacuum cleaner, especially in the face of the expensive S7 Max V from the same manufacturer.

We won’t have had to wait long. Announced just a week ago, Roborock’s Q7 Max has been available since March 17 from AliExpress. And it also arrived in our laboratory. So we will be able to start our tests shortly and find out what this new robot vacuum cleaner is really worth “affordable“, according to the formula of its manufacturer. Indeed, at 499 € alone and 649 € in its Max + version with automatic emptying station, this model is certainly more affordable than the current robot star of Roborock – the S7 MaxV Ultra launched in 1399 € —, but it still represents a certain investment… for features that are ultimately fairly standard today.

Remember that the Q7 Max are identical in all respects if we exclude their charging station and that they include a laser rangefinder to locate and move, a 5,200 mAh battery or a collector of 470 ml. A water tank and a mop are also provided for washing in addition to vacuuming, but Roborock has chosen not to offer the sonic vibration system available in its S range. Too bad, because that would have allowed the Q7 Max to stand out more from the lot, while we find for example vacuum cleaners with automatic emptying station at less than 500 €, such as the Roidmi Eve Plus or the Shark IQ RV1000SEU.

Roborock Q7 Max+

Note that an introductory offer makes it possible to obtain the Q7 Max and Max + at 350 and 521 € respectively, but we will have to act quickly, and without our conclusions, since it will end on March 19 at 7:59 a.m. Our test should appear in the coming weeks.
