Traffic light partners “block each other”
The former left parliamentary group leader Wagenknecht sees responsibility for the decline of her party in the party leadership. The traffic light sounding would “not make any progress” in relieving the burden on low-wage earners.

Namely as the social conscience of this country.”
Hartz IV changes “only waste”
The previous exploratory results of the possible traffic light partners SPD, Greens and FDP have met with criticism at Wagenknecht. “You can tell that the individual parties are blocking each other. In the end, the result is a poor lowest common denominator.” The minimum wage of 12 euros was long overdue. But what happens with pensions? What about wages that are just over 12 euros? Wagenknecht: “And a fairer tax system, relieving the burden on low incomes and burdening top earners, you won’t get a single step forward.”
The desired changes in Hartz IV are, in the opinion of the MPs, only wasted. “Hartz IV is apparently only to be renamed. So a restoration of real unemployment insurance, where people do not have to be afraid of falling into a social hole after a year, that is not planned at all.”
Wagenknecht considers the situation on the border between Belarus and Poland to be intolerable. It is a basic problem that to this day the refugees are not being given sufficient help on site. “Nevertheless, countries must also control their borders so that we know who is coming in,” said the left. Everyone who is politically persecuted has a right to protection, and it must stay that way. “But that has to be established, of course, and of course that does not mean that anyone who wants to can come can. And there are clear conditions for this,” Wagenknecht continued.
When asked about the handling of the Nord Stream 2 Baltic Sea pipeline, Wagenknecht attacked the Greens: “I think it’s completely crazy how the Greens are currently handling the pipeline. We can see that we have a real problem on the energy front. We have extremely increasing problems Prices, sometimes a large supply gap “.
