Nuclear: EDF finally buys Arabelle turbines from the American GE

Return to France for the strategic Arabelle nuclear turbine. Sold by Alstom to the American GE in 2014, it was taken over by EDF. The electrician and the industrial conglomerate announced on Friday the signing of a “final agreementrelating to the purchase of the nuclear activities of GE Steam Power (GEAST), except for the American perimeter. The discussions were formalized on February 10. The closing of the operation is scheduled for the second half of 2023.
