The deputies of Nupes on the one hand, those of the RN on the other, filed Tuesday, with the Constitutional Council, appeals against the pension reform adopted the day before by Parliament.
For the 150 deputies on the left, the government has, without urgent necessity, used and circumvented article 47-1 of the Constitution on the examination of the budgets of the Scu.
This had the effect of depriving the assemblies of the impact study of the bill and drastically reducing parliamentary debates, say the elected PS, LFI, PCF and EELV, joined by a handful of independents of the Liot group.
According to them, the reform did not fall within the scope of an amending Scu financing law.
Finally, they believe that the reform, pushing back the retirement age from 62 to 64, undermines the Social Republic referred to in Article 1 of the Constitution.
Senators on the left must file their own appeal.
In the morning, the RN had presented its own appeal to the Constitutional Council. Laure Lavalette and Thomas Mnag, spokespersons, denounced an unfair, brutal reform, which will penalize French withdrawals.
The appeal also targets the choice of the legislative vehicle, an amending budget of the Scu for 2023, since there is no impact on the current budget, estimated Mr. Mnag.
He also pointed to the sincerity of the debates, according to him altered by the abuse of the right of amendment on the part of the Nupes which prevented us from having a vote.
RN deputies have again raised the issue of the senior index, according to them a legislative rider.
