nurse anesthetists call for a “dead block” week

They want to get “Fair recognition of their profession”. Collectives of State-certified nurse anesthetists (IADE) have called for a week “Dead block” in hospitals from Monday, November 8, promising “A marked slowdown in scheduled operating activity”.

These groups, rallied under the “IADE United” banner, are covered by a strike notice filed by the CGT, for the period from November 2 to 11 inclusive, claiming “Legislative, regulatory and financial recognition of their profession”, integrating “The arduousness of their exercise”, as well as ” the respect [de leurs] exclusive skills “.

“In struggle for over a year”

Nursing anesthetists “Have been fighting for more than a year” and “Have nothing more to lose”, say the collectives in a press release denouncing “The lack of government will to access [à leurs] legitimate claims “, both in terms of status and salary.

They therefore call for “A“ dead block ”week, a black week without IADE”, in order to “Force the government to favorably develop their profession”. “Strong disruptions should be expected from Monday, November 8 in all operating theaters in the territory, with a marked slowdown in scheduled operating activity, excluding emergencies”, they warn.
