All that will soon be missing is the performance in situation to know everything about the third “Ada Lovelace” graphics card.

Announced at the same time as the GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 16 GB, it was then called the RTX 4080 12 GB. No doubt partly because of various remarks, NVIDIA finally decided to “recalibrate” it to 4070 Ti.

Two-step confirmation

In all likelihood, this GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will be one of the stars of CES 2023 in Las Vegas at NVIDIA, but the American company seems to have the greatest difficulty in keeping the information secret.

Thus, its existence and its name, which were certainly no longer a secret to anyone, were confirmed by the publication of the technical recommendations related to the NVIDIA Omniverse View application.

Today, things go a little further, since an unfortunate publication from NVIDIA itself provides the technical details of the graphics card. The information has since been removed… but too late.

A significantly lower TGP

This information is not really new, but it confirms, if necessary, that the RTX 4070 Ti is indeed the renamed RTX 4080 12 GB. It is therefore a question of 7,680 CUDA cores within a GPU whose boost frequency can reach 2.61 GHz.

NVIDIA also confirms the 12 GB of video memory in GDDR6X, but does not mention other information such as the speed of 21 Gbps, the 192-bit interface and the bandwidth of 504 GB/s. According to the latest rumors, the TGP of this card should be 285W.

We won’t go over the advanced performance on the NVIDIA leak capture, however, because too much information is missing about the test conditions. Finally, remember that the GeForce Beyond meeting at CES 2023 will take place on January 3 at 5 p.m. (Paris time).
