(Boursier.com) — Nvidia , the American graphics processor and AI giant, intends to launch three new chips intended for the Chinese market, specifies the Reuters agency, citing local media. The new offensive by Jensen Huang’s group comes just weeks after the United States blocked it from selling two high-end artificial intelligence chips and one of its best gaming chips to Chinese companies. The ‘STAR Market Daily’ quotes people close to the matter, according to which the new Nvidia chips would be called HGX H20, L20 PCIe and L2 PCIe. Nvidia could unveil these products from November 16…
Last month, Nvidia said new export restrictions announced by Washington would prevent it from selling two of its modified advanced AI chips created for the Chinese market. One of the company’s high-end gaming chips would also be affected.
