Nvidia: seduction operation on its cheaper graphics cards

As we mentioned a few weeks ago, the price of graphics cards has fallen by around 25% since the start of the year. The availability of graphics cards having greatly improved in recent weeks, prices have mechanically started to fall.

However, it seems that the prices are not falling fast enough for Nvidia’s taste, which has just set up a Restock and Reloaded page to list the best offers on graphics cards equipped with its GPUs. The founder thus promises to update every Thursday at 3 p.m. the best offers from resellers. A way to highlight the most attractive price references and push graphics card manufacturers and merchants to make an effort to bring prices back to normal.

Nvidia is highlighting an RTX 2060 6 GB from EVGA at €379.90, an Asus GeForce RTX 3060 at €449.90, a Gigabyte RTX 3070 Ti at €809 and an MSI RTX 3080 Ti at €1459. Admittedly, these prices are the most attractive at the moment.

It’s a real seduction operation that Nvidia is launching by trying to achieve parity with a different manufacturer and retailer for each model put forward. This is above all a real challenge for the GPU manufacturer with the arrival of the RTX 4000s next September, in order to prevent partners from ending up with a surplus of stock of RTX 3000s that are then technologically outdated.
