Nvidia: The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti pauses production

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 ti graphics card announced with great fanfare at CES 2022 will be delayed. Indeed, its production is on hold following the discovery of a problem.

As reported by the Tweaktown site, the very high-end model of the Greens is encountering construction problems to the point that Nvidia has apparently asked its partners to stop production. Either way, put it on hold. The very serious VideoCardz site, always on the right track, confirms the information by stating that everything is linked toproblems with BIOS and hardware.

A little behind schedule for Nvidia?

Note however that Nvidia has not yet announced an official release date for its card, but has only specified that more information should arrive during the month of January. For the record, the famous card offers 10752 CUDA cores, 24 GB of GDDR6X memory at 21 Gbps and 450 W of TDP.

  • GPUs : GA102-350
  • GPU Clusters : 84
  • CUDA Cores : 10752
  • RT Cores : 84
  • Tensors : 336
  • clock speed : 1560MHz
  • Boost Clock : 1860MHz
  • Memory : 24 GB GDDR6X
  • Bus : 384 bit
  • PDT : 450 Watts

Still in the unknown, we obviously don’t know anything about the pricing, which in all likelihood risks breaking records, all the more so if we add to it the stock problems and the shortage of components. Some partner models of the RTX 3090, for example, are currently displayed at 3000 euros (yes, you read that right).
