NVIDIA: two new games in DLSS and an update on Star Wars Outlaws

NVIDIA takes stock this week of the latest developments in its technology DLSS. The manufacturer announces that two games now benefit from DLSSbut he also returns to the case of Star Wars Outlaws, whose release date was revealed yesterday. The game ofUbisoft will in fact benefit from all the technologies of NVIDIAand even an integration into GeForce NOW from launch.

Without further ado, here are today’s announcements:

  • Star Wars Outlaws launches August 30 with NVIDIA DLSS 3, Ray Tracing and Reflex

At GDC, NVIDIA announced that Star Wars Outlaws players will get a definitive PC experience, leveraging the game-changing technologies of GeForce RTX GPUs to improve graphics, accelerate performance, and make gameplay even more responsive.

Yesterday, Ubisoft and Lucasfilm Games revealed that Star Wars Outlaws will launch on August 30, and pre-orders begin today. They also shared a new trailer and screenshots to get fans excited.

Experience the first open-world Star Wars game, set between the events of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, releasing August 30, enhanced with upscaling and frame generation driven by NVIDIA DLSS 3 AI, Ray Tracing and Reflex. It will also be available in the cloud on GeForce NOW.

  • TRIBES 3: Rivals and The Outlast Trials now available with DLSS 2

TRIBES 3: Rivals from Prophecy Games is a team-based first-person shooter that elevates the genre with jetpacks, skiing, and class warfare. Teamwork, tactics, speed and intense combat reign supreme in this rebirth of the world’s fastest shooter. Available now in Early Access, TRIBES 3: Rivals includes support for DLSS 2.

Please note that when enabling DLSS, you will need to manually adjust the resolution scaling option to increase performance – for Performance DLSS mode in 4K, set the slider to 50%; in 1080p and 1440p, set it to 66% for DLSS Quality mode.
