Nvidia would prepare a real monster with 48 GB of GDDR6X memory

Once again Nvidia is the victim of a rumor (in this case a noise in the hallway) about its next graphics cards and in particular the famous RTX 4090 Ti.

Is Nvidia outbidding power for its next GeForce RTX graphics cards? In a recent Tweet, the ever-informed Kopite7kimi suggests some pretty crazy specs: NVIDIA is reportedly preparing a GeForce RTX 4090 Ti called The Beast:

A monster with an 800W TBP for the Nvidia RTX 4090 Ti?

This monster or rather this Nvidia beast would offer:

  • GPUs : AD102-400
  • CUDA Cores : 18,176
  • VRAM : 48 GB GDDR6X
  • Memory bus : 384 Bit
  • Memory speed: 24 Gbps
  • PTB : 800 Watts

Yes, you read that right. It would be a GeForce Nvidia card with no less than 48 GB in GDDR6X with a consumption of 800 Watts. This obviously remains to be taken with a grain of salt even if Kopite is rarely wrong on this kind of subject. Note, however, that NVIDIA would probably launch the GeForce RTX 4090, RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 as a priority. With a rumor swelling that there will be a general postponement due to GeForce RTX 3000 stocks running out.

Anyway, this famous GeForce RTX 4090 Ti if it exists should arrive after the others, as a conclusion for the range. This was particularly the case for the current generation and the RTX 3090 Ti.
