You can now count on NZXT if you are looking for a keyboard
or a gaming mouse
! The specialist of computer case
and cooling kits has just unveiled its very first gaming peripherals.

The American manufacturer is therefore expanding its catalog with two new products for the moment, the NZXT Function keyboard and the Lift mouse.

A customizable “high-end” keyboard available in three versions

We can say that NZXT starts strong with its Function keyboard. Determined to keep and take advantage of its brand image on the peripherals market, the manufacturer announces a very interesting keyboard on paper. Available in white and black, the Function arrives in a fairly classic design for a gaming keyboard, but above all with low profile keys (low profile), an aluminum body, or even interchangeable switches.

Regarding the latter, NZXT leaves the possibility of personalizing the keyboard via its website with, as desired, Gateron Blue, Brown, Red switches, or via a salty supplement of 79 dollars (for the Full Size version) on the Gateron bill. Aliaz Silent or Silent Black Ink. By default, the keyboard is sold with Gateron Red. Note that the MX-compatible sockets will allow you to change at any time for a wide range of switches.

The “Keyboard Builder” also allows you to choose the color of the keycaps as well as a second color for the arrow keys, space and others. The choice is also left on the color of the cable! Finally, assembling the keyboard via the configurator costs $9.99.

At least expensive, the Function Full Size will cost us 149 dollars, while the bill goes up to almost 260 dollars if you select all the options of the configurator. A very spicy price for a simple keyboard, even if it is equipped with interchangeable switches.

The advantage is perhaps more on the side of the three versions of this keyboard. NZXT indeed offers a full size format, a tenkeyless (TKL) and a particularly compact MiniTKL. The prices in France are 139.99 euros for the mini-TKL, 149.99 euros for the TKL version and 159.99 euros for the full-size keyboard. Only the most compact comes without a wrist rest. All three models come with a volume wheel on the left, as well as three additional buttons on the side of the keyboard.

A minimalist and symmetrical mouse

For its part, the NZXT Lift is wired, minimalist, light and symmetrical. NZXT announces it as an ambidextrous mouse, but it does not have a thumb button on its right edge. In addition to its 67 grams on the scale, it is equipped with a PixArt 3389 sensor and Omron contactors guaranteed for 20 million clicks. Finally, it is available in many colors, sports light RGB lighting on the sides and has a memory that can store up to four profiles, just like the keyboard.

Finally, both the Function keyboard and the Lift mouse will be accompanied by the CAM software developed by the manufacturer. This is a handy monitoring software to follow the real-time performance of a machine or the performance in game. It will now offer the possibility to adjust the RGB backlight key by key of the keyboard and that of the mouse.
