O2: Current problems with mobile communications – other areas are also affected

According to our fault reporter for O2, the mobile operator is currently experiencing some problems. Mobile phone users in particular are affected by the difficulties. However, the internet and telephone connection are also not working smoothly.

According to the reports, the disruptions occur mainly in western Germany and in the capital Berlin. There are also occasional problems elsewhere. An end to the disruption is currently not in sight.

Almost at the same time, we received reports that Aldi Talk users were struggling with similar problems. Because both services belong to the Telefónica network, this could be a major disruption in the overarching network. The Telefónica network is also used by the provider 1&1, for which we currently have no problem reports.
