Oasis: Liam Gallagher wants band reunion after the Corona crisis

Nothing, absolutely nothing will ensure that Liam (47) and Noel Gallagher (52, "Blue Moon Rising") get together again for an Oasis reunion. That seemed to have been increasingly carving the two arguments in stone in recent years. But now the Corona crisis of all things could be the reason why the estranged brothers are pulling together – for a good cause after the pandemic, like Liam Gallagher via Twitter.

There he initially wrote, as usual, doubtfully: "Listen seriously, many people think of me as an asshole and I'm a good-looking asshole." But then he gives all followers and Oasis fans great hope for the time after the crisis: "When all of that is over, we have to bring Oasis back for a one-time charity concert." Finally, he even turns directly to his brother and writes: "Come on, Noel, after that we can go back to our great solo careers."

A Twitter user aptly sums up the basic tenor of the fans who diligently comment on Gallagher's post: "It has to happen. I want it to happen. The world needs it to happen."

The problematic brothers and sisters have been clinching for many years. After the band was founded and many hits in the 90s, the two overtook each other, Oasis broke up after Noel Gallagher's exit in October 2009. Since then, the two have not been on stage together – a circumstance that could hopefully change in the foreseeable future.
