From Uschi Glas to Collien Ulmen-Fernandes: Numerous stars did not miss the opening of the Oberammergau Passion Play.

After a twelve-year break, the 42nd Oberammergau Passion Play opened on Saturday. Numerous stars and celebrities did not miss the spectacle. Top-class guests from politics, business as well as film and show business were seen on the red carpet in the Upper Bavarian community near Garmisch-Partenkirchen on Saturday morning.

Two special celebrity couples

For example, actress Uschi Glas (78) appeared accompanied by her husband Dieter Hermann. For the special occasion, they both chose smart trouser suits, glass in taupe, Hermann in anthracite. Presenter Collien Ulmen-Fernandes (40) put on a white ensemble of pants and blazer and a black turtleneck sweater.

Dieter Hallervorden (86) attended the event with his fiancée Christiane Zander. The actor chose a dark blue suit with a gray waistcoat, white shirt and blue tie. Zander appeared in an elegant overall with a black and white pattern. The two only announced their wedding plans for next June in April.

Other guests were Bavaria’s Prime Minister Markus Söder (55), Clemens Schick (50), Jutta Speidel (68), Ben Becker (57), Rufus Beck (64), Frank Plasberg (64), Dunja Hayali (47), Alexander Hold (60), Udo Wachtveitl (63), Götz Otto (54) or Dominic Raacke (63).

The Oberammergau Passion Play is one of the most famous Passion Plays in the world. The last performance took place in 2010. This year the spectacle can be seen until October 2nd.
