Burgenland not only guarantees the five hospital locations in Kittsee (from 2030 in Gols), Eisenstadt, Oberpullendorf, Oberwart and Güssing, but also invests record sums in health care. “Health is our most valuable asset, which is why we are consistently implementing a quality offensive for the health of the Burgenland population that is unparalleled in Austria: the construction of the new hospital in Gols, the creation of acute care practices, scholarships for medical students, and the planning of our own private university for medicine, the new salary scale for doctors and nursing staff, the introduction of health care days for 20,000 Burgenlanders between 40 and 65 years of age or an additional emergency doctor helicopter location in northern Burgenland,” concluded Fürst.
