Speaking to Total Film magazine, Chow was asked about Liam Neeson’s potential return as Obi-Wan’s master, Qui-Gon Jinn. Rumors have long persisted that Neeson could appear as a force spirit, in visions, or in a flashback.
Traditionally, the question is dodged, but Chow offers hope for a slew of surprise appearances while hinting that the rumors of Neeson’s return as Qui-Gon might have some truth.
Obi-Wan embarks on a journey. Different people will come into his life. One of the things I tried to do with the series was to bring in the legacy and the people who are important in Obi-Wan’s life, but also bring in some new characters. So it will be a mixture of both. But I think there are some surprises in store for you. I hope so.
