Back in the shoes of Darth Vader for the Star Wars series centered on Obi-Wan Kenobi, Hayden Christensen has teased the kind of fights fans can expect and that’s good news!
As the arrival of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+ gets closer and closer, the actors continue to raise the impatience of Star Wars fans through their speeches. The latest comes from Hayden Christensen, the interpreter of Anakin Skywalker in the prelogy, back under the helmet of Darth Vader for the occasion.
In an interview at Total Moviethe actor recalled his experience with the character: “When George [Lucas] cast me for the prequels, it was to play Anakin. He becomes Darth Vader towards the end and for a few scenes I was able to put on the costume. But my journey with the character was that of Anakin Skywalker.”
And to clarify:He’s such a complex person. And now being able to explore the mentality and emotional state of Darth Vader is a lot of fun.”
Hayden Christensen also gave some clues about what viewers can expect from the series worn by Ewan McGregor regarding the fights, which will be in the same vein as those of the prelogy, to the delight of fans.
A familiar style
Because if The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith are not the favorite episodes of many aficionados of the Star Wars saga, they have nevertheless often been celebrated for their more dynamic lightsaber duels than those of the first movies.
