On May 27, the Disney+ streaming platform kicked offObi-Wan Kenobia new series from the universe Star Wars and centered on Obi-Wan Kenobi’s journey during his exile on Tatooine, between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. In this new production, the emblematic Jedi receives the mission to save the young princess Leia Organa, kidnapped by bounty hunters on behalf of a ruthless Inquisitor: Reva (Moses Ingram).
To succeed Carrie Fisher in the role of the iconic Princess Leia, the production of Kenobi chose Vivien Lyra Blair, a very young actress at the dawn of her career. But who is the one whose face already makes everyone agree ? Born June 4, 2012, little Vivien Lyra Blair is not her first role, far from it. In 2018, she made a discreet debut in the series waco and Grey’s Anatomybefore obtaining the first real role of his career: that ofOlympia, the little girl Sandra Bullock takes under his protection in Netflix’s post-apocalyptic thriller, Bird Box.
From Eleanor Roosevelt to Leia Organa
In 2020, Netflix trusts Vivien again by giving her the role of Guppy in the comedy We are the heroes. The girl then receives the heavy task of playing a young Eleanor Roosevelt in the series The First Ladylaunched in April 2022 on Showtime, before being contacted by Disney to join the saga Star Wars. In 2022, she will also star in the drama Dear Zoedirected by Gren Wells, and will appear in the horror film The Boogeymanby Rob Savage, in 2023.
