Obscure horror game is back with new gameplay


The Serbian development studio Ebb Software has released new gameplay for the horror game Scorn on YouTube. Two puzzles of the game are presented in the short clips.

The obscure horror game Scorn announces itself two new gameplay clips back. Developer Ebb Studio has its own YouTube channel two puzzles from the upcoming horror game.

In Scorn you are a naked, unsuspecting character looking for answers in a strange world. The level design and architecture were heavily influenced by the artist’s style HR Giger inspired, who was also responsible for the design of the famous Alien films.

Which is one of the main reasons why Scorn attracted international attention early on.

The developers describe the atmospheric horror game as a big mysterythat wants to be solved. In addition to the puzzle inserts, there will also be conflicts with other forms of life. For example, players get one organic gun, to defend himself.

The horror game is already there for at least eight years in development and was presented for the first time with a trailer at the end of 2014. A Kickstarter campaign followed, but it failed.

In 2015 the game found an investor. Two years later there was a second Kickstarter campaign, which was again successful. More than 150,000 euros were collected for the project.

In May 2020, developer Ebb Software announced that it would not only release Scorn for the PC, but also for the Xbox Series X|S. A release is current for the October 2022 intended.
