Occupation continues – University of Innsbruck: climate activists make demands

The activists from “Erde Brennt Innsbruck” have been fighting for nine days at Innsbruck University to save the world from climate change. They pitched their tents in lecture hall three at the Innrain campus. On Friday evening, the group handed over a claim paper to the management of the university.

“As an open group, we decided on the demands in a grassroots democratic and consensus-oriented process. Now it’s up to the decision-makers at the university to respond to this and enter into negotiations with us,” emphasizes Luca Moser. The paper submitted contains eight demands. Concrete strategies are to be negotiated for these.
