Nadya Suleman aka the world-famous “Octomom” can look forward to another milestone in the lives of her octuplets: the children have celebrated their 14th birthday.

In 2009, the life of Nadya Suleman, 47, was to change completely: the American was the first woman in the world to give birth to octuplets. At that time Suleman, who has since enjoyed international fame under the name “Octomom”, already had six children. Now her octuplets are already celebrating their 14th birthday. A good reason to take another look at the life of the extended family.

Nadya Suleman’s octuplets celebrate their birthday

Photos obtained by the British newspaper “Daily Mail” show the octuplets – Nariyah, Isaiah, Maliyah, Jeremiah, Noah, Josiah, Jonah and Makai – on an excursion to mark their special day. The 47-year-old single parent gave her kids a go-kart race at K1 Speed, followed by pizza in Orange County, California.

“You are all growing up to be the kindest, humblest, most grateful and loving people I have ever known,” Suleman said last year on the occasion of her offspring’s 13th birthday. An attitude that she still represents today: the new family photos make it clear how much the extended family sticks together. “Each of you possesses rare and unique qualities and is unlike any other child your age, especially in our society today. Words cannot express how grateful I am to be your mother. You all have blessed my life immensely, and I thank God daily for giving me the confidence to care for you, shape your life and influence you all,” added the Octomom 2022.

“Octomom” never planned to have so many children

Nadya Suleman is raising her 14 children (all conceived by artificial insemination) without a partner in a three-bedroom house in Orange Country. It was not intended that she would one day be a mother of 14 children, as she has said several times in the past. She never planned to have that many children and was “misled” by her doctor. She confessed to The New York Times in December 2018 that during her pregnancy in 2008 she made her believe she was only going to have twins. In the end she had eight children.
