“I’ve known the sound of the Pummerin since my childhood, since my first “Happy New Year” at midnight. And the Pummerin was always on the radio, every year, very reliably. And if you know a sound so well, then it is a freestyle for a sound artist to “remix” it, to change the pitch and rhythm, to make the Pummerin’s bell sound unheard of,” explains Wolfgang Fadi Dorninger.
