The following deals, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures were reported at 2045 GMT, Wednesday:
** NextDecade NEXT.O filed a registration application that would allow TotalEnergies TTEF.PA to sell its 17.5% stake in the U.S. liquefied natural gas company over time.
** Gas pipeline operator Williams WMB.N said it would buy a portfolio of natural gas storage assets from an affiliate of Hartree Partners LP for $1.95 billion, to meet growing demand from liquefied natural gas projects.
** Hollysys Automation Technologies HOLI.F said it accepted private equity firm Ascendent’s buyout offer, valued at $1.66 billion, as it struggled to find a better offer from the from interested parties during the public purchase offer period.
** Germany’s Software AG SOWGn.DE has invited competitors and investors to submit bids for two software platforms and is exploring options for a third, Handelsblatt daily reported, citing sources familiar with the negotiations.
