For Malik Harris, things are going better in the charts than at ESC: With the single “Rockstars” he can look forward to a place in the top ten.

At the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) last Saturday, it was only enough for last place, but Malik Harris (24) can look forward to chart success. In the official German single charts, determined by GfK Entertainment, the 24-year-old climbed from 42nd place to eighth place with his song “Rockstars”. It is therefore the first top ten placement of a German ESC contribution since Michael Schulte was successful with “You Let Me Walk Alone” in 2018.

The Ukrainian winners of this year’s music competition are also represented in the list: “Stefania” by Kalush Orchestra came in 22nd. Last year’s winners Maneskin made it to 50th place with their new song “Supermodel”.

Rapper Luciano in first place for the third time

The unsurpassed winner this week is the rapper Luciano, who is sitting on the chart throne for the third time with “Beautiful Girl”. He is followed by Ion Miles, SiraOne & BHZ with “Powerade” in second place, as well as t-low and Miksu/Macloud with “We Made It” and “Sehnsucht” in third and fourth place. Harry Styles completes the top five singles with “As It Was”.

The same chart topper has also been in the album charts for three weeks: Rammstein with their album “Zeit”. Florence + The Machine followed in second place with “Dance Fever”, in third place the “Summer Stars” of the Calimeros. “Sing meine Song – The Barter Concert, Vol. 9” comes in at number four and the Rolling Stones rank at number five with “Live At The El Mocambo”.
