Offline mode is in development for V Rising

For years now, the fashion has been a permanent connection required in most games. Sometimes it makes sense and goes well, sometimes it ends up like Diablo III and its error 37. Despite its promises of an offline mode, V Rising, released in early access on May 17, does not yet have one. A difficult choice because many players have various connection problems. Fortunately, the developers are actively working to fix this.

Like many before it, the influx of players at launch caught the game servers completely off guard. Many players suffered from this, experiencing disconnections or simply not being able to play. Worse still, the progress of these players is directly affected. They make easy targets for their opponents, who can gorge themselves on their resources.

Aware of all these concerns, the developers preferred to clarify their will. Promised when marketing V Rising, the offline mode remains absent for subscribers for the moment. This choice allowed the team not to delay the release. However, they continue to actively work on it so that players can enjoy it as soon as possible. This is their top priority right now. The offline mode should see the light of day in just a few days, or even a little less with luck.
