“Oh bro!” : Jean-Luc Reichmann confides in the education of his children and shares an amusing anecdote: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

The Z’amours, WATCH YOUR STEP !, The 12 strokes of noon Over the course of his career, Jean-Luc Reichmann has established himself as an essential figure on the small screen, in particular on TF1 in the midday slot. Elected for a time as the French’s favorite personality, the one who sees his broadcasts as “a little trip, a daily meeting”is very attached to this time slot, and makes it a point of honor to come on set 365 days a year. His fans know it, however: for 10 years, the host has also had a foot in comedy. In addition to theater, he is also the hero of the series he launched with his wife: Leo Matteï, Minors’ Brigade. A program which is very successful with viewers, and which focuses on the many themes that can affect Jean-Luc Reichmann. Among them, that of the family, the protection of children, and their education. In 50’Inside on March 2, 2024, the host, who was recently the victim of a burglary, also spoke with pleasure about his children, and the way in which he manages his large family on a daily basis.

How Jean-Luc Reichmann manages to “set limits” with his children

How does he manage daily life with 6 children at home? Jean-Luc Reichmann affirms it, he is not a “doting father” or one “cool dad”but rather “an old-fashioned dad”. A way of not letting anyone walk on his toes, because his children have a big age difference (between 14 and 35 years) and have, he says, a strong character. “Everyone gets along well, and we try to behave,” he explains to Isabelle Ithurburu on TF1. “They know that, at some point, stop.”

The opportunity, for someone who has long been on bad terms with Paul El Kharrat, to also share a little anecdote: “My son called me “Oh brother”. And I told him, excuse me, there is only one who can say ‘brother’, it’s my brother and he has more elegance so not ‘brother’”. And to conclude, after this aside: “So indeed we have to set limits but they know it. We try to fight with these values.” A story that should speak to many parents!
