Once again, Santa Claus has chosen Bouygues Telecom to manage his account WhatsApp. Here is one that should not lack solicitations in the coming weeks.

Once again this year, Santa Claus has decided to maintain this close bond established with children – young and old – for several years, by allowing you to obtain a personalized video message from him. For this Christmas 2022, Bouygues Telecom is renewing the experience by offering a telephone number accessible to everyone from WhatsApp.

We finally have Santa’s 06!

Bouygues Telecom is relaunching its #AllôPapaNoël operation, which has also been rewarded twice for its previous edition. The operator won the Grand Prize for Brand Content 2022, awarded by INfluencia, and the Grand Prize for Customer Experience Strategies 2022. If this is a marketing event that started three years ago, it skilfully stages the magic of the holidays.

If you want to receive a personalized video from Santa Claus, just open your WhatsApp application, and dial 06 25 12 25 12 (a number that speaks for itself).

Once the conversation is open, you can write a small personalized text, including for example the first name of a parent, a child, a friend to whom you intend it. It can very well be a gift idea, a souvenir, a joke or any other desire.

The magic (well not quite, we’ll talk about it below) does the rest: a few seconds later, you receive your personalized video, which you can then save and/or share. Several settings are available for the videos: Santa Claus can indeed grant you this small favor by filming himself from his factory, his office, his living room, in the mail room and even in front of his sleigh.

A little help from technology

Well, obviously, Santa Claus does not yet have the capabilities to prepare Christmas for children around the world and to record personalized messages by the thousands. So he needs a little help. And to help it, Bouygues Telecom called on the Parisian digital studio BETC Fullsix, as last year, for the creation of algorithms, and the Breton company Voxygen, for the transformation of text into audio.

An actor was also responsible for recording an entire specific lexical field. Santa Claus may be modern and fresher than ever, but he really can’t do it all on his own, and his workshop wouldn’t have been spared inflation, we’re told, which further complicates his task.

The general public launch of the operation is supposed to take place on November 22. But Bouygues Telecom has provided us with a small QR Code that allows you to directly open the WhatsApp conversation (in case you are too lazy to enter the number yourself, we all have our problems). So enjoy it, let your imagination run wild, but don’t be too greedy either 🙂
