A 47-year-old woman suspected of having killed her 52-year-old companion was arrested and placed in police custody on Tuesday in Grandvilliers, Oise.
The man was discovered unconscious on the public highway on Tuesday afternoon by a neighbor as he left his partner’s home.
Two perforations in the heart and a wound in the head
The rescuers, who tried in vain to revive him, found “two perforations in the heart as well as a wound in the head”, according to the Beauvais prosecutor’s office.
The suspect stayed at home during the emergency response, then around 7 p.m. she left, “alcoholic, with a bloodstain on her shoe” and evoked “a verbal argument with her companion”.
According to the prosecutor, the couple had been dating “daily for several years” but did not live together.
An open investigation for murder by a partner has been opened and entrusted to the Beauvais research brigade.
