Domestic violence, attempted femicide … The motivations of a 34-year-old man who attacked his ex-wife on Sunday in Creil (Oise), before injuring two other people in his flight, remain to be clarified.
The facts occurred shortly before 5 p.m., in a park in downtown Creil. A 29-year-old woman alerts the police: she has just been violently attacked by her ex-husband, reports Le Figaro. He is known to the police, in particular for a procedure of domestic violence against this same young woman. The victim was taken to hospital with a broken nose.
Two other victims in a few minutes
The man fled on foot. On his run, he attacks a first man, reports Le Parisien. According to Le Figaro, the 38-year-old victim was stabbed several times in the throat and would be the new companion of the young woman. He was transported to Amiens hospital in critical condition.
Shortly after, the police are informed of a third attack: a man received three stab wounds in a hairdressing salon. It would be the neighbor of the fleeing man, hit in the stomach, arm and neck. The vital prognosis of the third victim was engaged on Sunday evening.
The man was finally arrested shortly after by the police, while trying to flee by car. He was taken into custody.
