Oktoberfest 1900: Reunion with star from "Who dies earlier is dead longer"

There is a reunion with Markus Krojer in the TV series "Oktoberfest 1900". He was the child star in "Whoever dies earlier is longer dead".

In the new event series "Oktoberfest 1900" (15.9, 16.9. And 23.9., 8:15 pm, the first) there is a reunion with a former Bavarian child star. Markus Krojer (26) played himself in 2006 as a little rascal Sebastian Schneider in the surprise hit "Who dies earlier is dead longer" by director Marcus H. Rosenmüller (47) into the hearts of an audience of millions.

In "Oktoberfest 1900" he plays the gentle and artistically gifted Ludwig Hoflinger, one of the two sons of the competing brewery families. Klaus Steinbacher (26, "Das Boot") plays his brother, Roman Hoflinger. He was also seen in the Bavarian comedy as Sebastian Schneider's classmate Toni.

Producers suspected nothing

During the casting for "Oktoberfest 1900", Markus Krojer's cinematic past, including "Die Perlmutterfarben" (2009), "Nanga Parbat" (2010), "Falsche Seventy" (2016), does not seem to have played a role.

"During the casting it was a great challenge to be able to cast almost only 'Bavarian actors'. I didn't even know his (Krojer, note by the editor) filmography when we cast him. And when I found out about it I am really happy about it. Especially because he also played with Klaus Steinbacher in the Rosenmüller film. They were classmates in the comedy, and in our series they play the sons of the Hoflinger brewery family, "chats producer Alexis von Wittgenstein when asked by spot on news a bit out of the casting sewing box.

Another reunion with Markus Krojer takes place this year in Joseph Vilsmaier's (1939-2020) last directorial work, "The Boandlkramer and Eternal Love", which is due to be released in cinemas in Germany on December 17, 2020.
