The classic: braided hair wreath
Let’s start with the classic Oktoberfest hairstyle: the braided hair wreath. This hairstyle is particularly suitable for long to shoulder-length hair. A braided hair wreath also goes perfectly with a rather high-necked dirndl and gives the traditional look a timeless elegance.
For a simple braided hair wreath, divide the hair in half from a middle parting. Both halves are braided into a braid over the ear, preferably pointing the hair upwards. Wide hairbands made of velvet with a braided look and designed in a color that matches the dirndl are particularly popular. Hairbands decorated with eye-catching flower or pearl applications will also be in trend in 2023.
