OL Groupe: CEO net income of -27.1 ME in the 1st half


(CercleFinance.com) – OL Groupe announces that the total income from its activities at the end of the first half of the 21/22 financial year (i.e. the period from July 1 to December 31, 21) is 116.1 ME, a figure down 6% compared to the same period a year earlier.

If ticketing activity exploded, rising from 1.9 to 14.1 ME, brand products increased by 29% (to 9.1 ME) and advertising-partnerships increased by 6% (to 17.4 ME), TV rights fell by 31% to 30.5 ME and proceeds from the sale of player contracts fell by 23%, to 41.2 ME.

OL Groupe finally recorded an operating result of -20.2 ME, against -43.4 ME a year earlier.
Under these conditions, net income group share amounted to -27.1 ME, compared to -50.6 ME in the 1st half of 2020/21.

On the sporting front, the Group is confirming the sporting ambition of its men’s and women’s professional teams, with the common goal of performing on the European scene during the second half: the men’s team will play in the 1/8 of the Europa League (March 2022) and the women’s team the 1/4 Champions League (March 2022).

OL Groupe also intends to return to the heights of the 2021/22 Championships, for European qualification in 2022/23.
