Eagle Football and OL Groupe are pleased to announce the arrival of Santiago Cucci as
executive chairman
of the Olympique Lyonnais group. Recognized for his vast experience in developing global projects, the Frenchman will be on a mission to start building the future of Olympique Lyonnais while respecting his legacy.
After joining Eagle Football as Revenue Director, Frenchman Santiago Cucci was hired by OL Groupe and joined the executive committee as
executive chairman
acting, by decision of John Textor, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Aged 53, Mr. Cucci has contributed to the success of several global companies such as Levi’s Strauss and Dockers, of which he served as president for the past three years.
Throughout his professional career, Mr. Cucci has always maintained a direct connection with the world of football and is eager to actively participate in the construction and promotion of a major institution like Olympique Lyonnais.
With his development and business knowledge and skills, the new
executive chairman
will accompany the club in the new stages to come, allowing the institution to evolve towards a more flexible and modern model, in step with the times and expectations, where all of the components such as the operation of the stadium, of the Arena, and more broadly, of the OL Vallée site, are at the service of the club and its fans.
