It is relatively certain that Apple will soon introduce new iPad Pro models. Rumors about this have been popping up again and again recently. It is said to be the most comprehensive update to the tablet series since 2018.

There will probably be two models again. In addition to an 11-inch variant, the 12.9-inch iPad is growing slightly and is expected to have a diagonal of 13 inches. According to the US magazine MacRumors, CAD drawings for the new OLED iPad have now come to light from Chinese factories, which reveal more about the exact dimensions of the devices.

The CAD drawings show that the new iPads will be significantly thinner than all their predecessors. The 11-inch iPad will shrink from 5.9 to 5.1 millimeters thick. The difference is even more noticeable with the large iPad. Here the thickness should only be 5.0 millimeters – a big step up from the previous 6.4 millimeters.

More details about Apple’s new iPad Pro models have recently leaked. The M3 processor is considered set, and there is also talk of MagSafe power connections and new accessories, namely the Magic Keyboard. It is unclear exactly when the new iPads will be introduced. Apple generally does not comment on products that have not yet been released.
