Actor, singer and presenter Oliver Petszokat (41, "Airplanes in the Belly", Oli P.) and his wife Pauline have had difficult times. But now there is a first real ray of hope. Because the head surgery that his wife had to undergo was "problem-free" and the "tumor" that was removed was "not malignant either, as it turned out during the examination". In an interview with the magazine "Bunte" Petszokat revealed further details.
Operation before corona restrictions
His "fear of losing Pauline" was great when she had to undergo head surgery before the corona restrictions. "Pauline had known that this tumor was in her head for 13 years, but luckily the thing didn't grow," said Petszokat. In August 2019, the two learned that the tumor "was now the size of a golf ball and was pressing on the optic nerve and movement center".
The couple had great respect for the necessary intervention, as the Berliner from Berlin continues: "We knew that if such an operation went wrong, you would always be a case of nursing. The professor told us that he would do his best, but he could help us didn't promise that there could be no complications. It was hard to hear that. "
She was operated on in March
Oliver Petszokat already spoke in June 2020 about the operation, which had already taken place in March, but without giving specific details. Previously, Pauline had to cancel a duet appearance in Florian Silbereisen's (38) "Schlagerlovestory.2020".
"Fortunately, Pauline is feeling a little better now. Unfortunately, she is not yet fit enough for a big show appearance," moderator Silbereisen explained to the TV viewers on the ARD program. Through thick and thin for twelve years
Oliver Petszokat and Pauline have been a couple for twelve years and have been married since 2014. "Living with Pauline is the purest of love I have ever been able to experience. We are everything for each other," he enthuses today.
