That's why she doesn't give her Queen's successor any tips

Olivia Colman's time in "The Crown" is over. Imelda Staunton takes over, but the new queen does not get any tips from her predecessor.
Oscar winner Olivia Colman (46, "The Favorite") ended her time as Queen in "The Crown" with season four. However, she will not give any tips to her successor in the Netflix series about the life of Elizabeth II (94) and the royal family. Actress Imelda Staunton (64, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix") will take on the role of the older monarch for the last two seasons.
In an interview with Radio Times, Colman replied when asked if she had any advice on how to play the role to her successor: "I haven't spoken to Imelda and I wouldn't dare give her advice on how to play the Queen . " Staunton is exceptional "and she will do everything much better than me. I can't wait to see what she does".
Colman is very different from the Queen
Olivia Colman won a Golden Globe for her portrayal of the Queen in "The Crown", although the role apparently demanded a lot from her: The Queen is exceptionally strong, "superhuman", which is very far from her, according to the actress.
Staying in the stoic mindset of the Queen has always been a challenge, as she is very emotional and cries a lot: "Whenever someone says something sad, I burst into tears. When I see a picture of a puppy, it comes to me the tears. I have the feeling that it would be the same with the Queen, but she is not allowed to, so I didn't either. "
