Olivia Jade, the daughter of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, has commented on her parents who are currently serving their sentences.

Olivia Jade Giannulli (21) is currently having to hold out and wait for her parents Lori Loughlin (56) and Mossimo Giannulli (57) to leave prison. Both were found guilty of the university bribery scandal. For the first time, the couple's daughter spoke openly in an interview about the case in which her parents paid a bribe for her admission to a university. "It was difficult. Nobody wants to see their parents go to jail. I think it's important that we go ahead and look ahead," said the YouTuber on the Facebook show "Red Table Talk" by Jada Pinkett Smith ( 49).

You try not to portray yourself as a victim, Giannulli said in the interview. "I don't want pity – I don't deserve pity. We failed. I just want a second chance, which is, 'I realize I screwed it up.'" Since she's 21, she thinks, "I want a second Deserved a chance to redeem myself and show that I've grown. "

She currently has no contact with her parents due to strict Covid 19 regulations. Especially with her mother, whom she describes as her "best friend", she has very little contact, said Giannulli. "I know that she is strong and that it is also positive that she is in there right now." Loughlin could think about everything that happened and find out what she had learned from it. "I think this will hopefully be a blessing in the end."

She never felt angry with her parents because, especially at the beginning, she did not understand what they had done wrong. She lived in her own bubble and only later understood why people were so upset. "I know the two are good people and I will not judge them for the mistake they are currently paying the price for."

Several months in prison

Lori Loughlin began her two-month prison sentence in late October. In addition, she has to do 150 hours of community service and pay $ 150,000. Her husband Mossimo Giannulli was also found guilty of the case. He was given five months in prison, 250 hours of community service and a $ 250,000 fine. He began his sentence in mid-November.

The couple, who have been married since 1997, pleaded guilty to fraud in paying $ 500,000 to bring their daughters, children Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, 22, to the University of Southern California.
