A little over a year after the kidnapping of journalist Olivier Dubois by an armed group in Gao, the main city in northern Mali, his family, questioning the action of the French services, is asking for the appointment of an independent magistrate. “Only the opening of a judicial investigation, with the appointment of an investigating judge, will allow access to the procedure”, said Saturday in a press release master Laurent Bayon, the lawyer for the Dubois family, who represents his partner, Déborah, and their son, Saël.
