A horrible family secret that had serious consequences. Last January, Camille Kouchner, daughter of Bernard Kouchner and Evelyne Pisier, revealed very serious facts which haunted his family for years, in a book published last January. Entitled The Familia Grande, she tells there that Olivier Duhamel, her father-in-law, would have abused his brother twin in childhood and adolescence. A secret that she was the only one to know for years, before the young man spoke about it. So family members would have been told years later, and bet them, Evelyne Pisier, their mother … But this one would not have reacted well at all and would have taken the party to defend her husband. His sister, Marie-France Pisier, would have been completely outraged at this lack of reaction. But Evelyne Pisier was a key person in this story. She was writing her memoir when she died prematurely, in 2017. Unfortunately she does not havewas able to complete her work, which she had titled And suddenly, freedom. A history rewritten
Indeed, Olivier Duhamel would have taken this opportunity to modify passages of the book. The magazine Marie Claire, as reported Here is Thursday April 1, 2021, reveals that he would have rewritten the dedication at the beginning of the book: “For everything he knows and that I don’t need to say: thank you to Olivier“. On top of that, Marie-France Pisier has been completely erased from history… The Kouchner children would thus have been “horrified“by this fact while reading the book. According to the Point, Camille Kouchner’s brother (whose name she did not reveal) would then be went to talk to the editor, Caroline Laurent, to dissuade her from publishing the book as is.
