As announced by BFMTV: declared contact case on Wednesday and, tested negative, the Minister of Health has not stopped his activity in the hemicycle, the protocol allowing it. Olivier Véran would however have presented mild symptoms on Thursday. It was by performing a self-test and then an antigen test that the politician was declared positive. Having a complete vaccination schedule, the Minister of Health is isolated until at least Monday, where he will take another test, or until Wednesday if he still tests positive.
BFMTV points out: “It’s bad for him”. Indeed, Olivier Véran is the one who defends the text on the vaccine pass at the National Assembly. A shame, for those who have a busy schedule over the next few weeks, their illness being able to complicate their task. “He’s the man of the moment. There will be debates again on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, whether in the Senate or in the Assembly “, observes Thomas Soulié, deputy head of the political service of the news channel. “From now on, he will be represented by one of his deputy ministers”, he adds.
